Orange Blossom Honey Butter

You can make this a few days ahead and store in an airtight container in your refrigerator. Leftovers can be used for morning toast, cornbread, muffins or scones.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup wildflower honey or orange blossom honey if you can find it
  • 1/4 cup unsalted organic or grassfed butter softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a medium bowl; beat with a hand mixer at medium speed until well combined (about 2 minutes). You can alternately place everything in the bowl of a Cuisinart and combine. 
  • Serve butter at room temperature.
