Colorful and bright, this winter punch can be scaled up for parties or big groups. Feel free to add any dark fruits that are in season, such as red pears or persimmons. Serves 8-10.

Ingredients
3tangerinessliced thin, or 1 small navel orange or blood orange
1bottle ProseccoCava or Champagne
3cupspomegranate juice
1/4cupbrandy or cognac
1cuppomegranate seeds
1pearhalved, seeded and sliced into thin slices
½cupseedless Thompson grapes or red grapescut in half
2cinnamon sticks
2star anise
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and stir to combine. Serve in ice-filled glasses.

Make ahead: Mix up the sangria in the morning and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
