Gift Ideas for Mom
We’ve been taking a little break from our Friday Love List, but it’s time for some gift ideas for mom! Moms right now are working harder than ever: Working from home, educating kids, entertaining families, walking the dog, cleaning the house, killing the germs and cooking non-stop. Women can seriously do it all. Treat your mom, aunt, sister or godmother with a little pick-me-up. A gift for mom is the least we can do!
For the Smart Cook!
Get excited! You can now purchase Smart in the Kitchen Gift Cards online. The digital gift cards can be sent directly to your mama! For a limited time, until things return to feeling more “normal,” digital classes are $25 each. Live streamed cooking classes cover 3-4 recipes and include an email with several Smart in the Kitchen recipes for you to dive into at home. We also have a gift set with a canvas tote, apron and wooden spoon that we will wrap and ship! Set up your own private class at a date and time that works for you and your group, or join one of our scheduled May classes. The next one is a Cinco de Mayo class next Tuesday at 5pm central time.
Bakers Gonna Bake
We’ve been baking maybe a little TOO much. But there are some workhorses in our kitchen that make it easy, like these cookie silpats that make clean up a breeze. You could send your mom a baking care package with Miss Jones cookie or cake mix, mixing bowls, measuring cups or spoons (we like the narrow ones that fit in spice jars). We love this 5-piece baking set, and I want this 8-piece set mainly for the cute copper baking spatula, I should probably just gift myself these. And I’m a sucker for these linen pinafore aprons for mom.
If She Likes To Get Her Hands Dirty
This waterproof apron is perfect for gardening. Include some well-designed scissors for snipping herbs, and maybe a pretty nail brush and some lavender hand salve.
Farmers Market Kind of Girl
This market tote is so perfect — I love the different compartments so your tomatoes and flowers don’t get crushed. We also love this canvas picnic tote and picnic plates, and you could fill it with goodies and meet mom for lunch.
For the Spa Junkie
Rose bath oil sounds like a dream come true. Bath salts would also be a perfect gift for mom. Send a bath kit with some slippers and soft cotton or silk jammies for the ultimate cozy gift. After a relaxing bath, mom might need a nap on a new soft silky pillow.
For the Entertainer
Linen embroidered group therapy cocktail napkins would be the perfect gift, or these sweet floral napkins. Add one of these perfectly sized square Tina Frey bowls for cocktail nuts and snacks. Throw in All Day Cocktails, which is full of low (and no) alcohol cocktail recipes.
