Super Bowl Menu
I’m in it for the food and commercials, people. Living my best stereotype! I need a Super Bowl menu that’s full of chips, dips and way too much sodium.
First things first, no Super Bowl would be worth watching without buffalo wings.
Second on the list is, of course, nachos. If you want a healthier option, try these Jalapeno Popper Nachos from Skinnytaste.
We need something green to feel better about ourselves! Enter jalapeño green goddess dip. Sure, it’s good with tortilla chips, but be sure to throw some cucumber and red pepper slices on the board, too.
While you have the food processor handy, make a batch of warm artichoke jalapeño dip. You can serve it on the same crudités board as the green goddess.
Another solid dip choice would be this poblano corn cheese dip from Gaby Dalkin. If you make it, I highly suggest my kale guacamole and roasted tomatillo salsa on the side.
Meatball sliders would be a crowd-pleasing dinner option. Make them at 5pm and keep them warm, covered on the stove, so they’re ready for rolls at half time! If you want something easier, dust off your slow cooker and make French Dip Sandwiches.
You could make these homemade soft pretzels, or buy the frozen ones from Trader Joe’s and heat them in the oven. Grainy mustard on the side.
I’m not a dessert person at times like these, but if you are check out this post for ideas.
Now, can someone tell me who’s playing in this thing??
